Restorative Yoga @MCC

Restorative yoga is the practice of softening into yoga poses with the help and support of yoga props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps. The yoga poses can be held up to 20 minutes at a time so there can be very few poses per class. Restorative yogas purpose is to allow the body to relax so it is a very passive practice that allows us to drop into a deep state of awareness allowing us to surrender to our true self. Restorative yoga allows the body to start healing, leading us away from suffering which is yogas true and highest purpose.

This class is a special offering as it is prop intensive and there are only so many spaces per class. Please make sure to register and verify space limits if you do not have your own yoga props.
